Searching for the ideal bathroom mirror light to specify bathroom mirror lights for a project or buy from an online lighting solution, needs careful consideration. Bathroom mirror lights are required to fulfill a number of functions namely;
Bathroom mirror lighting ideally should be positioned either side of the mirror, so the light from them evenly illuminates the users face.
Your choice of bathroom mirror light needs to give a decent level of illumination which should be diffused through frosted glass or polycarbonate. This reduces the glare and softens the light and any shadows.
Bathroom mirror lights have the opportunity to create a flattering colour of light to illuminate the face. Even when using a fluorescent lamp as the source, the choice of colour temperature of the lamp effects the colour of the light produced. We generally send out 'warm white' fluorescent lamps with these mirror lights.
A bathroom mirror light will often have a pull chorded switch, to enable the user to switch off the light at the fitting itself. Localised switching on a bathroom light is not a requirement for an IP44 rating and is not always a requirement at all.
Successful bathroom mirror lighting should come from an appropriate combination of style, function and of course price!
